Kanazawa

The Prefectural capital Kanazawa of Ishikawa is known for its Edo period district, museums and traditional crafts. Despite the area's large amount of marvelous sightseeings spots, public transport by no means is convenient. A trip there by plane will take you to the local Komatsu Airport but will require a transfer to public transport to head into Kanazawa. A bullet train can take you to Kanazawa directly but compared to the price of a bus, tickets are rather high at 14,000 JPY.
By taking a highway bus you can choose the exact disembarkment location within Ishikawa Prefecture such as Kanazawa Station, Toyama Station, and Kaga Onsen to match your travel schedule. The journey takes approximately 9 hours (exact times will vary on bus company) allowing ample time for rest with the added benefit of saving on one night's hotel cost freeing up more money for travel. Furthermore, a night bus will arrive early morning at Kanazawa giving you an early start for sightseeing.

If the bus code starts with an X or a Z then you can make a booking from one month in advance. For all other buses, bookings can be made between 1 and 4 months before the intended departure date.
We suggest that you visit our website closer to your desired departure date and make a booking then.
