We do not operate a ticket office and do not have a physical selling location. Tickets can not be bought at the boarding point without a reservation.

Is it possible to make group reservations?
If there are enough seats available for your group, then a reservation can be made.
The maximum amount of passengers per reservation may vary by bus.
If your group number is larger than the maximum amount of passengers per booking, then you can make seperate group bookings.

When can reservations be made?
In regards to availability of tickets for purchase, there isn't a definitive sell date.
The buses are released for sale online depending on when the bus company fixes the price and schdule etc.
Bus tickets are mainly available one or 2 months before the actual departure date.
Can reservations be made for buses on the actual date?
Reservations on the day can be made if seats are available.

Is it possible to board a bus without a reservation?
The seats provided by Kosokubus.com require that a reservation is made.
If a reservation is not made beforehand, it will not be possible to board the bus.

Is there a waiting list for cancellations?
Unfortunately, there is no cancellation waiting list.
When a cancellation is made then a seat will be made available on the website, please check at your own convenience.
What date should we reserve buses for that depart after midnight?
Please reserve night buses for the date before the date change.

Eg :Overnight night bus

The arrival date is also shown, so please confirm this before booking.
Can infants be carried on laps?
Most bus companies do not allow this.
It is necessary that all passengers wear seatbelts, for safety reasons passengers are not permitted to carry infants on their laps throughout the journey.
Reservations are made for one person per seat, please make sure to travel wearing a seatbelt.
* Child seats are not provided. We appreciate your understanding.

For long journeys and night buses, as it may cause a disturbance to other passengers we do not recommend that you travel with young children. That decision can only be made by the parents or guardian.
Can someone make a booking for me?
It is possible for the person making the booking and the actual passenger to be different.
In the process of making a booking, you will come to a page where you are required to add the passenger details.
Please select the option available for making a booking on someone else's behalf and insert the required information.
I want to add more passengers to my booking, what should I do?
Make a new reservation with the additional number of passengers.

After making the reservation some bus companies wil treat the bookings as one group booking and aim to keep you together if they are informed.

Bookings can not be made at the arrival and departure locations. There are [Restriction at some boarding/departure points]. What are these?
[Restriction on some boarding/departure points] may set on peak season such as New Year Holidays or other holiday seasons, in order to operate a smoother service we recommend passengers from the same boarding point board the same bus.
Therefore, some bus routes may have restricted boarding points, and bookings can not be made at the arrival and departure locations.

Are there discounts for young children?
Some bus companies and routes have discounts for children.
These plans will have a (child discount) icon displayed.
When you make a booking please choose the correct price.

If there is no child discount icon displayed. The price will be the same as an adult price.
For what age do child rates apply?
The child discount is available for those children under the age of 12.
The child discount is not available on all buses. For buses that the child discount is not available a full adult rate will be charged.
